The sewer line is the pipe nobody thinks about until everything in the house starts draining into the tub. When that happens, the answer isn't always a dig — but sometimes it is, and the honest plumber is the one who tells you which before the quote.

What we handle

  • Sewer camera inspections with locator for pinpointing issues
  • Root intrusion cutting and removal
  • Spot repairs where a section has collapsed or offset
  • Trenchless pipe bursting and lining where the terrain and line allow it
  • Full dig-and-replace when trenchless isn't the right call
  • Sewer cleanout installation for easier future access
  • Yard line replacements from house to city tap
  • Septic tank line repairs (tank-side plumbing, not septic pumping)
  • Pre-purchase inspections before you buy a house

Signs you need sewer line service

  • Multiple drains slow at the same time — tubs, toilets, and sinks all sluggish
  • Sewer smell in the yard or around the cleanout
  • Gurgling toilets when you run the washing machine
  • Wet, soft, or unusually green patches in the yard along the sewer path
  • Sewage backing up into a tub or floor drain on the lowest level
  • Bubbles coming up in the toilet bowl with no one using water
  • Recurring clogs that keep returning even after a cable-clear

How we do it

  1. Camera the line before we quote the fix. Showing you the break, the belly, or the roots on a monitor is worth more than our word for it
  2. Locate the problem down to a foot and a depth — so if we dig, we dig in one spot, not the whole yard
  3. Present your options in writing: cable and jet if it's maintainable, spot repair if it's one section, trenchless if the line qualifies, full replacement if the line is done
  4. Protect what we can — landscaping, driveways, sidewalks — and restore the dig site as best we can when the work's finished
  5. Re-camera after repair so you can see it's fixed, and leave you the footage

Residential, commercial, or new construction

Mostly residential and commercial. Older homes around Jonesboro have a mix of clay, cast iron, and Orangeburg lines out to the street — they fail in predictable ways and we've seen all of them. Commercial sewer work on restaurants and medical offices often involves grease or medical waste considerations. New construction sewer lines are installed fresh at rough-in and camera-verified before backfill.

Why call Prestige

We don't lead with the biggest repair. A lot of sewer issues are maintainable for years with the right plan, and we'll tell you when that's the case. When a line is truly gone, we'll show you the footage, quote the replacement honestly, and treat your yard like we'd want ours treated. Call for a free estimate.
