Wynne is the Cross County seat with a population around 8,000, sitting near the foot of Crowley's Ridge and close to Village Creek State Park. The town was hit by an EF3 tornado on March 31, 2023, that destroyed the high school and damaged a significant portion of the housing stock. Rebuild work has been ongoing since, and plumbing has been part of it. From our Jonesboro shop, Wynne is about forty miles south, roughly an hour's drive.
Plumbing in Wynne
Wynne has a mix of older central-town housing and newer construction, with the added complication that a real slice of the housing stock has been rebuilt or repaired since the 2023 storm. Post-storm plumbing work ranges from full rough-in on new builds to repairs on homes that survived but had supply and drain damage. Outside the 2023 corridor, the usual age-related issues apply: cast iron, some galvanized, and sewer laterals that need regular attention.
